Our cottage is located at Arnarstapi on the Snæfellsnes peninsula which is sometimes described as a perfect sample of Iceland. It takes about 2 and a half hour to drive to Arnarstapi. The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds, kitchen, bathroom and a living room on the ground floor. Upstairs is a room where at least 4 persons can sleep on mattresses. 
The glacier Snæfellssjökull is 1550 meters (4800 feet)  high and can be climbed (photos) from the cottage. Tours to the top are offerd by Snjofell from Arnarstapi..
